The stimulation module is attached to the subject and transduces mechanical stimuli by using a pin matrix. The modules are driven by one or more stimulation cards.

The following pin matrices are available:

• 2x4 pin matrix (1 stimulation card)
• 4x4 pin matrix (2 stimulation cards)
• 4x4 pin matrix with shifted rows (2 stimulation cards)
• 6x4 pin matrix (3 stimulation cards)
• 6x4 pin matrix with shifted rows (3 stimulation cards)
• 2x5 pin matrix (1 stimulation card)
• 4x5 pin matrix (2 stimulation cards)
• 6x5 pin matrix (3 stimulation cards)
